Proflex Flexible Epoxy®
EZ Application 1500 Series
Features and Uses

Proflex Flexible Epoxy® is a 2-component low viscosity liquid epoxy that is very flexible when cured.

These features make it ideal for use as a:
  • Pourable crack filler for concrete, wood, plastics as well as foams.
  • Filler and resurfacer (with sand and aggregate) to repair concrete decks, walks and steps.
  • Self-leveling sealer for drip pans, impoundments and flexible membranes.
  • Tough yet flexible skin-former for fragile materials such as foams, fabrics, etc.
Proflex Flexible Epoxy® can be used by itself or mixed with (dry) sand and or larger aggregate. The addition of a filler material will reduce cost and add strength. Use approximately 3 - 4 volume of aggregate to 1 volume of Proflex Flexible Epoxy®. Adjust this volume as required in the field.

Proflex Flexible Epoxy® is 100% solids so it does not shrink in curing. The product is water, salt and chemically resistant, allowing for a wide spectrum of applications.

Application Guidelines
Proflex Flexible Epoxy® has a thin consistency so it will self-level. When ready to apply, mix part A and part B, as instructed on the label. Mix thoroughly.

When parts A and B are mixed, Proflex Flexible Epoxy® will have a pot life of approximately 45 – 60 minutes in ambient temperatures of 70 - 75 deg F. The pot life will decrease with increasing temperatures. Full cure is achieved in approximately 24 hours after application.

The above data is gathered in a controlled Laboratory environment.  Your conditions will vary.  Pot Life, Gel Time, Dry Time and Cure Time will all be affected by ambient as well as surface temperatures.  Higher temperatures shorten the time you have to work with the product.  Always mix thoroughly and immediately pour out of the container onto the surface to be coated.  Only mix the amount you can easily spread within 30 minutes.  If more specific information is needed please call Pro Guard Coatings at 800-735-4399
